No. This was a very intentional formulation decision. We chose not to add fragrance because we wanted the products to be as clean and skin friendly as possible, particularly for patients with sensitive skin or those using the products after aesthetic procedures.

Some users notice the slight, natural scent of the formulation itself rather than an added fragrance. Our commitment is to remain disciplined in our formulation philosophy and prioritizing clean, hormonally thoughtful skincare.

What does it mean that XOMD products were rigorously tested in a double-blind, placebo-controlled study?

Double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical studies are one of the highest standards in clinical research. Placebo controlled means that XOMD products were tested and compared to products with the same vehicle, but not necessarily the same beneficial ingredients as the XOMD products. Double blind means that neither the study participants nor the physicians conducting the research knew whether the participants had XOMD products or placebo formulations. In many assessments, the results that study investigators and participants who received XOMD products observed were statistically significant – meaning they could not be explained by chance alone. Most cosmetics do not conduct this type of testing, because it is complex and expensive. We wanted to demonstrate to XOMD users that our products really work. So we put them up to the test and we were blown away by the results. We are confident that once you try XOMD, you’ll have the same reaction.
